Welcome
to a website of one slightly crazy human power enthusiast.
Some people cycle for sport, some for fun, others just to get from point A to point B. I'm somewhere between the last two groups. Too lazy for actual sport, but bike is my favourite means of transport.
The website should be a source of inspiration and technical information, and also a gallery of dead ends, because I learn by trial and error. There is nothing about mountain and racing bikes here, but a lot about practical bikes for everyday (and everynight) use.
Let it roll!

Some tactical data for those who are interested:
- The two-level navigation bar at the top maps the whole site. What you don't find there, is not here. Sporadic links within articles (except links to other webs) are just copied from the navbar.
- Page styling is done by CSS, so it's better if your browser understands it. If not, the aesthetics may suffer, but readability shouldn't. If you don't understand this, ignore it - all today's browsers are OK and the prehistoric ones are only used by experts who don't need explanations :-).
- Most of the pages are written in static HTML and don't use Flash, Java or any other plugins or extensions. Javascript is sometimes used for calculations and form checking, but is not necessary for reading. No cookies are used.
- Advertisements at the bottom of each page are inserted by the freehosting server and I can do nothing about their contents.
