Bzzzk is quite unorthodox machine. The two black levers at the front are pedals, each of them has its own freewheel on the upper jackshaft. It doesn't matter how long strokes you do, or whether you move your feet alternately or together. There's a 3-speed hub at the bottom jackshaft and a 7-speed at the rear wheel. The seat is suspended by a homemade elastomer shock absorber.
