This trike seems to have come from the same workbench. If I'm not mistaken, it won the dragster races: it has low inertia due to its small wheels (I guess 18") and the three tracks allow to take off with both feet clipped in. Singletrack bike riders need to clip in after taking off and it makes quite a difference on a 20 m track.
